1. J H R S Ltd – reg. in London No. 6317634 reg. office Woodrising, Sevenoaks Road, Prattts Bottom, BR6 7SE
  2. Title – Title of goods, whether fixed or unfixed, will remain with J H R S Ltd until full payment is received by us. We reserve the right to enter premises and remove any items not paid for in accordance with our terms.
  3. Risk – Risk will pass to the customer on delivery, regardless of whether fixed / used, you should ensure you have adequate insurance cover for all risks.
  4. Working Hours - normally between 8.00 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday to Friday, any work outside these hours may require an additional payment.
  5. Down time – Any delay or ‘hold-up’ in the works at the client’s request will be charged at our standard day work rate. Any alterations or additions to the works may affect the cost and completion time.
  6. Prices – All prices quoted are exclusive of V A T, which will be added to the final invoice at the current rate.
  7. Payment – If J H R S Ltd has agreed to offer you credit terms - payment is due within 30 days of invoice date. Time of payment will be of essence to the contract. - You may not withhold payment by reason of set off or counter claim.
  8. If you do not have a credit agreement, a deposit of 25% is payable with order and/or full payment on completion.
  9. Quotations – Quotations are normally valid for 30 days and are based on costs quoted by our suppliers; we reserve the right to pass on any price increase / variations.
  10. Consent – The client is responsible for obtaining any planning consent, building approval, license or permission required from landlords, owners or local authority, for the completion of the works. Any plans, specification or schedules supplied by J H R S Ltd remain our property and may not be copied or passed to third parties without our written permission.
  11. Site – The client should ensure the site is clear and there is adequate free space for both the storage of materials and the erection of the works. Electricity, water, W C and reasonable use of mess facilities will be made freely available for the duration of the works.
  12. Defects – Any defects or omissions will be reported to the senior person on site at the earliest opportunity and will be rectified or resolved as soon as possible. The client may not withhold payment – refer to item 7 above.
  13. Time – Any delivery, start or completion time is given in good faith and dependent on the availability of materials and labour, J H R S Ltd cannot be held liable for any loss caused or costs incurred by delay in completion of the works, however caused.
  14. Acceptance – acceptance of our estimate, quotation or tender implies acceptance of these terms and is superseded any terms or conditions of your purchase order.
  15. Credit check – before credit terms can be offered a credit check will be carried out with an accredited agency.
